Beautiful bright dancing greens and blue colours in this huge natural solid black opal. Mined in the Lightning Ridge area of N.S.W. Australia, this gorgeous rare gem weighs 176.10carats and measures 49mm X 48mm X 12mm thick, wouldn’t this gem make the most magnificent pendant. This totally natural N1 – N2, 4 out of 5 bright, untreated solid Australian black opal is rare and the 3 baby stones which come from the original giant gem, weigh a total of 41.45 carats and come complementary.
(The cutter of this amazing gem has left some of the natural opal clay it was found in still in the back, proving beyond a doubt this is the real thing and has NOT been dyed or treated in any way).
